Fines for Failing to Comply

Eskdale Healthy Homes Compliance Timeframes

Tenancies established beginning on 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2021

  • Underfloor and ceiling insulation is mandatory to all Eskdale and New Zealand rental houses where it is reasonably practicable to install.
  • A Healthy Homes Intent to Comply Statement as well as an Insulation Statement, and an Insurance Statement must be included with any renewal, new or modified tenancy agreement.
